Your tasks
Working at the intersection of powertrain systems, autonomous driving, software, and hardware, you ensure seamless integration into the vehicle architecture. From hands-on system validation and CAN-based analysis to supplier collaboration and issue resolution, you play a key role in bringing safe, reliable, and high-performing automated vehicles to life.
Your Tasks
- Derive, define, and maintain performance and functional system requirements based on vehicle-level targets, characteristics, and applicable regulations, standards, and industry guidelines (e.g., UNECE, FMVSS, ISO)
- Act as a technical interface between vehicle attribute teams, Autonomous Driving, Software Engineering, Systems Architecture, Homologation, and other cross-functional stakeholders
- Lead system-level issue investigations using structured root-cause analysis based on log and measurement data, working closely with suppliers on resolution and corrective action validation
- Verify and analyze system performance on test benches and in-vehicle using CAN-based measurement, calibration, and diagnostic tools, documenting results and assessing requirement fulfillment under automated control
- Perform software-based system calibration and parameterization in close collaboration with suppliers to achieve the required functional and performance behavior
- Support vehicle integration teams during prototype builds, testing, and validation phases
- Contribute hands-on technical input to design reviews, FMEAs, safety cases, and release decisions
