Your tasks
Contribute to the implementation, scaling, and maintenance of a cloud-based simulation environment for autonomous driving system validation
Design, implement, and optimize interfaces between autonomous driving systems (ADS), simulation platforms, cloud compute resources, and supporting models
Plan, configure, and execute large-scale simulation workloads in the Cloud ecosystem
Organize, coordinate, and review software development tasks executed by external suppliers (e.g., interface development, cloud workflow components, simulation tooling)
Run data processing and analysis pipelines, including post-processing of simulation outputs and automated report generation
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and effectively communicate technical findings to stakeholders
Your profile
Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics, data engineering, or a related field
Professional experience or relevant internships in cloud-based compute workflows and simulation execution
Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, like e.g. in Azure Batch or Kubernetes Services. Experience with other Hyperscalers is an advantage
Experience executing scalable compute pipelines and distributed simulation workloads
Professional experience with Python and/or C++, including automated data processing and tooling development
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Ability to coordinate supplier tasks and ensure high-quality technical deliverables
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Excellent command of English; German proficiency is a strong advantage

The HOLON urban is a fully electric and autonomous vehicle for use on public roads. It is one of the world's first movers to meet automotive standards – leading the way in safety, ride comfort and production quality. The vehicle operates at a top speed of 60 kilometers / 37 miles per hour and can accommodate up to 15 passengers.
The HOLON urban is barrier-free and offers an automated ramp, a secured wheelchair space and auditory and visual support for passengers. In addition to conventional scheduled services, the mover is to be used as an on-demand means of transport in order to meet the mobility needs of users.
Deine Aufgaben
Du arbeitest an der Implementierung, Skalierung und Wartung einer cloudbasierten Simulationsumgebung zur Validierung autonomer Fahrsysteme
Du entwirfst, implementierst und optimierst Schnittstellen zwischen autonomen Fahrsystemen (ADS), Simulationsplattformen, Cloud-Computing-Ressourcen und unterstützenden Modellen
Du planst, konfigurierst und führst groß angelegte Simulations-Workloads im Cloud-Ökosystem aus
Du organisierst, koordinierst und bewertest Softwareentwicklungspakete, die von externen Lieferanten umgesetzt werden, zum Beispiel Interface-Entwicklung, Cloud-Workflow-Komponenten oder Simulationstools
Du betreibst Datenverarbeitungs- und Analysepipelines, einschließlich der Nachbearbeitung von Simulationsergebnissen und der automatisierten Berichtserstellung
Du arbeitest eng mit interdisziplinären Teams zusammen und kommunizierst technische Ergebnisse verständlich an alle relevanten Stakeholder
Dein Profil
Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Maschinenbau, Robotik, Data Engineering oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengangs
Berufserfahrung oder relevante Praktika im Aufbau cloudbasierter Computing-Workflows und in der Durchführung von Simulationen
Fundierte Kenntnisse im Microsoft Azure Ökosystem, zum Beispiel Azure Batch oder Kubernetes Services; Erfahrung mit anderen Hyperscalern ist von Vorteil
Erfahrung in der Ausführung skalierbarer Compute-Pipelines und verteilter Simulations-Workloads
Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Python und/oder C++, einschließlich automatisierter Datenverarbeitung und Tooling-Entwicklung
Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten und strukturierte Problemlösungskompetenz
Erfahrung in der Koordination von Lieferanten und in der Sicherstellung hochwertiger technischer Ergebnisse
Teamorientierte Arbeitsweise und starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse; Deutschkenntnisse sind ein starkes Plus
