Cybersecurity Engineer (f/m/d) (Application & Cloud)

Your tasks

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will join an interdisciplinary team of cybersecurity experts focusing on autonomous driving and high availability cloud backends. Within this team, you will be our Swiss army knife for operational and monitoring topics across our autonomous mover fleet.

Your tasks:

Design and implement PKI, key management, and distribution concepts using our Key Management System
Set up and operate the Holon IDS, including configuration of DTCs and transmission of IDS events to the Holon Cloud, and SOC, collaborating closely with our cloud service provider
Build and maintain our SIEM environment with tools like Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, and CSPM
Deploy and manage vulnerability management tools within the software release process to assess and verify software received from suppliers
Design and implement cloud and application security architectures in Azure and Kubernetes environments
Define and improve IAM concepts and perform vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews for APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications
You prepare and maintain a cybersecurity test environment—ideally automated—for our cloud and API infrastructure as groundwork for penetration testing
Support the integration of SDLC and DevSecOps principles into our engineering processes
Share knowledge and document work using Confluence and other collaboration tools

Your profile

Strong background in automotive cybersecurity or high-availability cloud systems (APIs, Azure, Kubernetes) with motivation to sharpen your automotive cybersecurity skills
Degree in Cybersecurity, IT Security, Computer Science, or a related field
Hands-on experience in SIEM/SOC operations, key management, and cloud security architectures
Familiar with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, Azure IAM, and CSPM
Solid understanding of API security, Kubernetes security, and DevSecOps
Proactive, analytical, and structured way of working – we don’t assign tasks, we assign responsibility
You communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, using tools such as PowerPoint to present complex topics
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

The HOLON urban is a fully electric and autonomous vehicle for use on public roads. It is one of the world's first movers to meet automotive standards – leading the way in safety, ride comfort and production quality. The vehicle operates at a top speed of 60 kilometers / 37 miles per hour and can accommodate up to 15 passengers.

The HOLON urban is barrier-free and offers an automated ramp, a secured wheelchair space and auditory and visual support for passengers. In addition to conventional scheduled services, the mover is to be used as an on-demand means of transport in order to meet the mobility needs of users.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Cybersecurity Engineer bist du Teil eines interdisziplinären Teams von Cybersecurity-Expert:innen, das sich auf autonomes Fahren und hochverfügbare Cloud-Backends konzentriert. In diesem Team bist du unser „Schweizer Taschenmesser“ für operative und Monitoring-Themen über unsere Flotte autonomer Fahrzeuge.

Deine Aufgaben:

Entwurf und Implementierung von PKI-, Schlüsselverwaltungs- und Verteilungskonzepten unter Verwendung unseres Schlüsselverwaltungssystems
Einrichtung und Betrieb des Holon IDS, einschließlich der Konfiguration von DTCs und der Übertragung von IDS-Ereignissen an die Holon Cloud und SOC, in enger Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Cloud-Dienstleister
Aufbau und Wartung unserer SIEM-Umgebung mit Tools wie Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel und CSPM
Bereitstellung und Verwaltung von Tools zum Schwachstellenmanagement innerhalb des Software-Release-Prozesses zur Bewertung und Überprüfung der von Lieferanten erhaltenen Software
Entwurf und Implementierung von Cloud- und Anwendungssicherheitsarchitekturen in Azure- und Kubernetes-Umgebungen
Definieren und verbessern Sie IAM-Konzepte und führen Sie Schwachstellenanalysen, Bedrohungsmodellierungen und Sicherheitsüberprüfungen für APIs, Microservices und Cloud-native Anwendungen durch
Sie bereiten eine Cybersicherheits-Testumgebung – idealerweise automatisiert – für unsere Cloud- und API-Infrastruktur als Grundlage für Penetrationstests vor und warten diese
Unterstützen Sie die Integration von SDLC- und DevSecOps-Prinzipien in unsere Engineering-Prozesse
Teilen Sie Wissen und dokumentieren Sie Ihre Arbeit mit Confluence und anderen Collaboration-Tools

Dein Profil

Du hast fundierte Erfahrung in Automotive-Cybersicherheit oder hochverfügbaren Cloud-Systemen (APIs, Azure, Kubernetes) und Lust, deine Automotive-Cybersecurity-Kenntnisse weiter auszubauen
Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Cybersecurity, IT-Security, Informatik oder einem verwandten Bereich
Du bringst praktische Erfahrung in SIEM/SOC-Betrieb, Schlüsselmanagement und Cloud-Sicherheitsarchitekturen mit
Du kennst dich mit Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, Azure IAM und CSPM aus
Du hast ein solides Verständnis von API-Sicherheit, Kubernetes-Sicherheit und DevSecOps
Du arbeitest proaktiv, analytisch und strukturiert – bei uns bekommst du Verantwortung, keine Aufgaben
Du kommunizierst klar und selbstbewusst mit technischen und nicht-technischen Stakeholdern, z. B. präsentierst du komplexe Themen in PowerPoint
Du sprichst und schreibst fließend Deutsch und Englisch
