Your tasks
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of the simulation environment
Implement, maintain, and optimize interfaces between autonomous driving systems (ADS), simulation environment, and additional required models
Validate simulation models and environments, e.g., vehicle dynamics and sensor models
Develop scenario test catalogues based on behavioral requirements and target operational domains
Prepare and execute test runs within the simulation environment
Analyze and interpret the simulation results to derive requirements and to improve the capabilities of the autonomous system in terms of performance and safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to communicate findings and inform relevant stakeholders
Your profile
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Initial professional experience or relevant internships in simulation and software development
Practical experience with simulation environments such as ASM, CarMaker, or CARLA
Skilled in programming languages such as C++ and Python
Experience in various data formats such as XML, JSON, YAML etc.
Experience in ASAM OpenDrive and OpenScenario
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
Excellent command of both written and spoken English; proficiency in German is highly desirable

The HOLON urban is a fully electric and autonomous vehicle for use on public roads. It is one of the world's first movers to meet automotive standards – leading the way in safety, ride comfort and production quality. The vehicle operates at a top speed of 60 kilometers / 37 miles per hour and can accommodate up to 15 passengers.
The HOLON urban is barrier-free and offers an automated ramp, a secured wheelchair space and auditory and visual support for passengers. In addition to conventional scheduled services, the mover is to be used as an on-demand means of transport in order to meet the mobility needs of users.
Deine Aufgaben
Mitwirkung bei der Implementierung und Pflege der Simulationsumgebung
Implementierung, Pflege und Optimierung von Schnittstellen zwischen autonomen Fahrfunktionen, der Simulationsumgebung und weiteren benötigten Modellen
Validierung von Simulationsmodellen und -umgebungen, z. B. Fahrzeugdynamik- und Sensormodelle
Entwicklung von Testszenarienkatalogen basierend auf Verhaltensanforderungen und den Zielbetriebsbereichen
Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Testruns in der Simulationsumgebung
Analyse und Interpretation der Simulationsergebnisse zur Ableitung von Anforderungen sowie zur Weiterentwicklung der autonomen Systeme hinsichtlich Performance und Sicherheit
Zusammenarbeit mit interdisziplinären Teams zur Kommunikation der Ergebnisse und Weitergabe relevanter Informationen an Stakeholder
Dein Profil
Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Maschinenbau oder eines verwandten Fachbereichs
Erste Berufserfahrung oder relevante Praktika im Bereich Simulation und Softwareentwicklung
Praktische Erfahrung mit Simulationsumgebungen wie ASM, CarMaker oder CARLA
Sicherer Umgang mit Programmiersprachen wie C++ und Python
Erfahrung im Umgang mit verschiedenen Datenformaten wie XML, JSON, YAML
Kenntnisse in ASAM OpenDrive und OpenScenario
Ausgeprägtes analytisches Denkvermögen und Problemlösungskompetenz
Teamfähigkeit und klare Kommunikationsfähigkeit
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift; Deutschkenntnisse wünschenswert
